GetLanding in Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor: landing pages straight from chat

5 min read

If Claude or ChatGPT is already part of your working day, you can now use GetLanding there too. Describe your business in the chat and the assistant creates a landing page, shows you the result, makes edits, connects a domain and tells you how many leads came in this week. You don’t have to open the dashboard.

This runs on MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard AI assistants use to connect to outside services. Our server lives at https://mcp.getlanding.online/mcp.

💬 What you can do from the chat

  • Create a landing page from a description. Tell the assistant about your business: what you do, your prices, who it’s for, how to reach you. It creates a draft, uploads photos if you have any, and starts generation. The page is written in the same language as your description.
  • Edit it in plain words. “Add a pricing section”, “make the button stand out more”. The assistant does the editing itself: it reads the page’s HTML, changes it and saves it back. GetLanding charges nothing for this. Every previous version is saved, so you can ask to go back at any time.
  • Connect your own domain. The assistant attaches the domain, gives you the DNS records to add at your registrar and tells you whether the certificate has been issued yet.
  • Work through your leads. “What leads came in today?”, “move Olena’s request to in progress”. The assistant reads form submissions and updates their CRM status.
  • Manage the product catalog. Add a product to an order form, change a price, temporarily switch an item off.
  • Adjust the form and the page. Add a form field, change the message visitors see after they submit, switch a landing page on or off.
  • Check your balance. The assistant can see your balance and the price of each action, so it can tell you what something costs before you pay for it.

💰 What’s free and what’s paid

Prices are the same as in the dashboard, and there is no extra charge for connecting an assistant.

  • Free: creating a draft, uploading photos, viewing your pages, leads and balance, editing the page through the assistant, restoring an earlier version, and replacing the page’s HTML with your own code.
  • Paid: generating a landing page costs 135 UAH. An active landing page still costs 4.50 UAH a day.

Charges come out of your GetLanding balance. Your Claude or ChatGPT subscription has nothing to do with it.

The built-in GetLanding AI edit, which costs 45 UAH in the dashboard, is not available through the assistant. It isn’t needed there: the assistant edits the page itself, for free.

⚠️ Who is responsible for the assistant’s edits

When your assistant edits a landing page, that’s its work, not ours. GetLanding doesn’t review the HTML it sends and isn’t responsible for the quality or mistakes of such edits, just like with a page built from your own code. If something breaks after an edit, ask the assistant to restore the previous version or do it in the dashboard: every version is kept. If you want an edit we stand behind, use “Edit with AI” in the dashboard.

🔌 How to connect

Claude (claude.ai) and ChatGPT, no key needed. In your assistant’s connector settings, add a new connector with the address https://mcp.getlanding.online/mcp and name it Getlanding. The assistant opens the GetLanding sign-in page for you. You sign in to your account, see exactly which permissions it’s asking for, and click “Allow”. There are no keys to copy.

Claude Code, Cursor and other developer tools, with a key. Create a key on the API keys page and pass it as a header. For Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http Getlanding https://mcp.getlanding.online/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer gl_YOUR_KEY"

Tip. In your first request, tell the assistant to use Getlanding so it doesn’t reach for a different tool. For example: “Use the Getlanding MCP to create a landing page for my coffee shop”.

🔐 You stay in control

  • The assistant never sees your password. You sign in on the GetLanding page, and the assistant only receives permission to act.
  • You see what you’re agreeing to. The consent screen lists every permission: viewing your balance, viewing landing pages, creating and editing them (paid actions are charged to your balance), reading leads and changing their status.
  • Revoke access whenever you like. Every connection is listed on the Connected apps page, with when it was connected and last used. Revoking takes effect immediately.
  • API keys are managed separately on their own page and can be revoked the same way.

🛠 For developers and agencies

The MCP server is built on the GetLanding public API, so it has the same capabilities, limits and rules. A few things worth knowing:

  • Retries don’t create duplicates. If you pass your own slug, repeating the create call returns the same landing page instead of making a second one.
  • Leads arrive once, with nothing lost. An assistant or agent only gets the leads it hasn’t seen yet, which makes syncing with your own system straightforward.
  • Bring your own HTML. You can swap the generated page for one you built yourself. It’s free, and the previous version goes into the history. This is exactly how the assistant makes edits: read the HTML, change it, save it back.

Requests and responses are described in the API documentation.

Want to try it? Open the connector settings in your assistant and add https://mcp.getlanding.online/mcp. The same instructions are also in the dashboard, on the API keys page.
